Czech Republic

Jana Hronkova lives in the beautiful historical city of Prague and has worked as a licensed guide for more than 13 years. Arnaud Servignat has been a licensed French guide since 1990.  He provides mostly museum and walking tours in Paris and its surroundings. Airport transfers are available in all Paris airports upon arrival or for departure.

Originally from the Netherlands, Elisabeth van Hest has been a licensed guide-lecturer in France since 1975. She leads many tours through Normandy, Brittany, Loire Valley, Burgundy, and other French regions in English, German, Dutch, and French. Art historian and photographer, Daniela Wedel, a German native living in France, shares her passion for Provence in the area between Avignon and Marseille. Born in England, Julian Brown made his home in Paris almost 30 years ago. An art historian and licensed guide, he specializes in tailor-made museum visits and walking tours of Paris. He has a PhD in Southeast Asian art history and lectures on his research for museums, universities, Royal Societies, and international conferences.

Contact Rolinka Bloeming for tours in the Languedoc, the largest wine region in the south of France, with visits to Carcassonne, Cathar castles, Narbonne, Pont du Gard, Canal de Midi, etc. Her food and wine tours include market visits, cooking classes, and wine tastings. There is also the possibility to stay at her fully autonomous wine property.


Born in Communist East Germany, Bernhard Schlegelmilch saw the revolution and fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 as a teenager. Before that life-changing event, he had wanted to study history, though an impossible choice. Why? Children of Lutheran ministers in East Germany seldom had access to higher education. So in 1989, he took advantage of the new freedoms, attended school in England, and then returned to Berlin to study history - earning a Master’s degree in Modern German History. Bernhard began Steuben Tours of Berlin to design and conduct tailor-made tours, based on the travellers’ interests: sightseeing, history, shopping, museums, or eating excellent hearty food.

Eszter Bokros offers regular walking tours in Budapest. Or if there is any special interest, she can adjust for that (e.g., architecture, certain historical periods or Jewish heritage, etc.).

George Farkas is from Budapest, Hungary with 14 years of guiding experience. He loves what his city has to offer: the history, architecture, culture, food & wine, spas, and exciting layers of entertainment. He is there to share everything with you when you are ready to explore Budapest.

Istvan  Koteczki is a registered, licensed guide in Hungary. In his city, Szeged, he does mainly classical walking tours. Besides that, he offers bike tours, Segway tours, kayak or canoe tours, and boat cruises. Upon request, he can also organize gastronomic events: cooking classes or honey-tasting, for example.

Peter Polczman guides local tours of Budapest. Both Pest and Buda take half a day, respectively, and the full-day tour of Budapest includes major sites on both sides. Special tours (museums, architecture, etc.) are available as well as  full-day excursions to the countryside or transfers outside the country.


Barry Moloney and Don Herlihy run the acclaimed Don & Barry’s Kinsale Historic Stroll, a daily walking tour of their hometown Kinsale, a scenic medieval town on the south coast of Ireland. Their walking tour focuses on the dramatic naval and military history. Private tailored tours including food tours, educational school/university tours, and storytelling workshops are also available.

Cathal Sheahan, a native of Kerry, Ireland, is very passionate about Irish culture and history. With his colourful background in theatre, film, archaeology, and philosophy, he is fond of blasting out an old Irish song on the odd occasion and particularly likes telling the stories of Ireland and its capital city Dublin. Ireland - including Northern Ireland

Stephen McPhilemy, a history graduate of Queens University Belfast, has been an award- winning registered guide since 1995. Stephen operates the Essential Walking Tour of Historic Derry in his hometown of Derry (aka Londonderry). He also runs guided tours of the famed Giants Causeway, Belfast city tours, and his second home - Dingle and the beautiful Dingle Peninsula. 


Nina Bernardo, a dual American-Italian citizen, currently lives  in Rome and conducts private Rome Daily City Tours. She loves to show Rome from her own expat perspective. Her walking tours can include lots of food and wine tastings and ancient plus modern history blended with classical and modern art.

Tricia Brady, living in Le Marche, Italy, offers full- and half-day private driving tours of this beautiful region of Italy. She also rents a stylish farmhouse in Le Marche and an apartment in a nearby 14th Century monastery in the hill town of Sant Angelo in Pontano.

New Zealand

Colin Mairs provides guided tours of New Zealand.
